Reference is made to the above subject and our earlier announcement on above subject dated on 26th August 2022.
After taking into consideration the feedback that we received from the industry and stakeholders, please be noted that the IT infrastructure refresh exercise will be conducted with the following details:

Date: 17th September 2022 (Saturday)
          – 18th September 2022 (Sunday)
Time: 6.00 pm (Saturday) until 6.00 am (Sunday) (12 hours)

During these 12 hours scheduled downtime, the following services will be unavailable:

Time: 0700 hours to 1000 hours (3 hours)

Dimaklumkan bahawa Operator-Operator Terminal (Westports dan Northport) akan memberhentikan sementara operasi get / yad kontena dan konvensional pelabuhan di Pelabuhan Klang bagi memudahkan pekerja yang beragama Islam berbuka puasa (makan malam dan solat maghrib) sepanjang bulan Ramadan yang dijangka dari 24 April 2020 sehingga 23 Mei 2020 mulai jam 7.00 malam hingga 8.00 malam.

Sehubungan itu, pihak LPK memohon kerjasama Pengguna-Pengguna Pelabuhan membuat perancangan awal bagi operasi pengeluaran / Penghantaran kargo / kontena pada masa yang ditetapkan supaya berjalan dengan lancar.

1. Effective from 6th January 2020, all haulier is required to use Cargomove system, in order to used direct access from Westport to PKFZ. Hence all Hauliers are required to do booking in order to use the direct access gate (G2), between Westports and PKFZ
2. On the Other Goverment Agencies (OGA) endorsement with MAQIS, the ZB1 (IMP) transaction which required MAQIS endorsement would be process electronically by the officer on duty, via PKFZ Integrated Management System (PIMS).

A) Declarant Details
Effective from 4th November 2019, all authorised users would compulsory to fill up MyKad (for Malaysian) and passport number, nationality, expiry date (for foreigner) into the agent registration in PIMS system. A copy of the MyKad (Malaysian) or Passport copy / working permit would require to upload into the user registration. For those foreign user, approval from PKFZ management is seek before they can approved by Free Zone officer to use the system as a declarant in every ZB transaction.

Untuk makluman Pihak Port Klang Free Zone sedang menaik taraf sistem PIMS “Ship Call Number” daripada 4 digit kepada 6 digit. Semua operator adalah dinasihatkan supaya memaklumkan kepada pihak kami jika nombor SCN tiada didalam sistem dan memastikan semua kontena mendapat pelepasan daripada pihak Westport. Sebarang pertanyaan lanjut sila berhubung terus dengan mana-mana pegawai daripada Jabatan Zon Bebas PKFZ.

The attached letter from Royal Malaysia Customs Department is referred.

Royal Malaysia Customs Department had reviewed the current Customs Duty Order 2012 (PDK 2012) to be in line with the tariff codes changes done by the World Customs Organization (WCO) which happens in every five years. This new Customs Duty Order will replace the PDK 2012 currently in use. The new Customs Duty Order will involve the changes in the number of digits from 9 digits to 10 digits as well as the tariff structure.

This Customs Duty Order was gazzetted on 3rd January 2017 and will be fully enforced on 1 April 2017. All declarations for importations and exportations previously used the PDK 2012 and ASEAN Harmonised Tariff Nomenclature 2012 (AHTN 2012) will be replaced with PDK 2017.
